Axel Seck’s estate is located outside the village of Dolgesheim and boasts a modern winery with a beautiful barrique cellar, conference and tasting rooms as well as guest rooms.
Axel’s speciality and passion are bold and dense red wines, such as Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Cabernet Sauvignon and Regent, which represent more than half of all bottles sold.
Special care and dedication is given to craft these remarkable reds, which can stand up to the best in their class around the globe.
Yields for the top wines are 40-55 hl/ha, which equates to just about 1 liter per vine. Red wines are fermented in large or small oak barrels, where they are aged for 12 to 18 months. The result is a range of bold, fruit driven, complex wines with incredibly soft tannins.
Axel Seck produces 100% organically, according to EU standards and all wines are vegan.
With an annual production of about 8,500 cases the focus is clearly on quality and character.
