TASTING NOTE: 

Ruby with ripe black cherry, creamy and herbal notes on the nose. Black cherry with hints of caramel, minerality and a pleasant herbal character. Strikingly elegant acidity and soft tannins.

Perfect with Italian food, red meats, nutty vegan dishes and cheese.

 

WINEMAKER'S NOTE: 

•Hand harvested grapes

•Small yield 50 hl/ha: 1 vine = 1 bottle

•Fermented with wild yeast

•3 weeks maceration

•12 months in seasoned barriques

•Organic and vegan production

•700 cases made

 

TERROIR:

The French Pinot Noir clones grow on the slopes of the Dolgesheimer Schützenhütte vineyard, which is a south facing slope with lime marl soil. This soil type is very rich in limestone and results in wines with a high minerality, density and length.
